Crossfit: Why It Might Be Right for Me

I want to exercise, but I also want to find a unique way of doing it that captures my interest and holds my attention. Crossfit seems to be a great way to build strength and get healthy and fit. After reading up on it, I found out that it involves many different things, including running, callisthenics, gymnastics, rowing, and weight training. All of these things are put into timed workouts that really get the heart pumping.

Crossfit typically includes interval training; this method involves bursts of activity that takes place over a shorter period of time. Research has indicated that this is one of the best ways to get results for all types of people, whether you are new to the fitness world or an experienced veteran. Being timed also helps to inspire competition in the participants, which motivates them to keep going.
