In kurashiki, there are cultural heritages ; not only Japanese but also overseas. The first museum of European art in Japan is also there. They say that Kurashiki was saved from the atomic bomb because of that.

BON is the Buddhists all souls'day. At the festival, many night stalls are set up, and a lot of people wearing YUKATA dance like this picture. YUKATA is informal summer KIMONO. Every summer, BON dance festival is observed all over Japan.
