Miss Madonna is the character of novel. "Bocchan" was written by the famous novelist, Soseki Natsume about 100 years ago. He had actually lived here.

It's the oldest hot spring in Japan. They say the Dougo spa started 3000 years ago. This spa institution of picture is 100 years old.

Both Soseki and "Bochan" love this hot spring.
