The air ticket to LA was sold on the web. Although it was so cheap that I bought it, I worried if I could get it. Because 1. I didn't know where the web shop was, 2. I couldn't get it until the departure day. Anyway I arrived at the Tokyo Airport, fortunately without missing a train. And then, as I visited at the counter written on the copy, the attendant said the counter number was wrong. Unfortunately, I was cheated? Oh, God! I have to go back home not to do anything? While I was thinking about such a stupid thing, the kind attendant was looking for the collect counter for me. And finally I got the air ticket, thank the attendant!
After the plane we had waited over 1 hour flied to LA, the LAX airport in LA made us wait for 3 hours to go out. So my plan in LA had taken a week to make was broken by the time killed. I got on a bus came at first, and the bus went for Santa Monica. As I was so sleepy, my memory in the bus was nothing, of course.
And then, when many people got off the bus, I also tried to do so. After that I looked for a restaurant because I was starving anyway. It was already 15:00. I can't believe it! While I couldn't think about anything, I had Californian food with beer under the beautiful palm trees.
Actually, I was bored in Santa Monica. Because many tourists were there and all shops were for them. Of course I was also a tourist. However I didn't come to the U.S. just to see tourists. So, just after meal, I took a bus for Beverly Hills soon.
When I got off, the dark sky veiled all. Where am I? I noticed I didn't know how to move. That was at the moment, strange Hispanic family asked me where a supermarket was. They looked like tourists. "Supermarket?!" in Beverly Hills? I didn't know not only a supermarket but also anything.
After I was lost for a while, I found a nail shop. I tried to stop by because I was tired to walk around. The old Chinese nailist recommended me French nail. Although the standard price was $10 and French one was $15, it was pretty cheaper than Japan. And I'm sure it was so reasonable than $150 that I paid for the Korean nail shop in NY last year......
Fortunately, I could get to Rodeo Dr. after that. Christmas illuminations were still decorated, it was fantastic. But People was a little and shops were almost closed. I gave up to do anything there, and returned to the bus stop. Everything was too late. Waiting for a bus, I stared at the lights over drive.
