When I got to Christchurch, it was just the previous night of Christmas holidays. You know, New Zealand is the South hemisphere. So, everyone drank and talked under the summer sky. Some people who couldn't have a seat sit down on the grass with a bottle of beer. That's a Kiwi style. All people seemed so happy!
Christchurch is famous as a gardening city or "old and good England". There are many old style buildings like England. I walked around the small city along the Avon river. A lot of beautiful flowers and greens made me refresh. And then I got a sushi box for lunch because fresh sermon looked like delicious! I thought sermon nigiri and teriyaki roll were popular in New Zealand.
I had wanted to eat beef, too. Because Japanese beef is not safe now. The restaurant I had dinner was on the Colombo St., the wall and music were all Beatles! I recommend it.

I liked to do window shopping on the Colombo St.. Not only tourists but also Kiwi people enjoyed themselves for shopping. Because it was on the Christmas sale. Maybe everybody had to buy Christmas presents for someone. I bought some postcards as a Christmas card and wrote a message at a cafe looking such many people.
