After I had arrived at B&B, I had a cup of tea with snack. The homemade cheese snack was so delicious! It was mixed ham, nuts, herb, and onion. I love it!

Not only breakfast but also dinner was so wonderful. Everything was homemade and fresh. Because vegetable and chicken were grown at the back of B&B, fresh milk was delivered from farm everyday. Especially, the lovely Christmas dinner was great! Rum, turkey, wine, and pretty Christmas cake. I could have a good time with host family and their relatives.

Kaikoura has the beautiful sea and mountains. Although it is a small town, we can see sheep and cow by a little walk. And Fur Seal Colony is also close. However we have to go through terrible rocks to see seal. About 30 minutes, after I had walked along the terrible nature road, I could find cute two seals sleeping on the rock.

Most Kiwi men have a boat for fishing. When I relaxed in front of beach, some men were checking many abalones they had gotten. It is so expensive in Japan! As I was staring at the abalone looked delicious, men gave me a piece of sea urchin. Maybe they thought I had wanted it so much.

It was the best reason I came to New Zealand to swim with dolphin. However I hadn't known if I could do until the arrival. Because I couldn't book it since no vacancy.

As soon as I got to Kaikoura, I visit the shop of dolphin swimming. And then I could book it at last! The experience was so fantastic. Actually I can't swim so much. So, I used a float to swim. Although I was scared a little, swimming a lot of wild dolphin, my feeling was better more and more.
